Opening your village…

THE ALDERUNE FIELD GUIDE

A place built
on small decisions.

Good villages connect. Roads, neighbors, workers and seasons all shape what the next day brings.

daily yield = ⌊base × staffed levels × (1 + bonuses)⌋
Start with a working village

Your village begins with a cottage, a timber grove, a quarry, a wheat field and a well. Three workers run the first three production buildings. Choose an empty plot to build, or inspect a building to change its priority.

Plan the next day

Village time advances only when you choose Begin a new day. Review the forecast first. Raw materials are gathered before mills and bakeries consume them. The workshop uses its staffed levels to process queued batches.

Use neighbors and roads

A road must connect to the northern edge to provide access. Connected buildings gain 10% production. Groves gain 10% per neighboring grove, up to 20%. Fields and orchards gain 25% beside a well.

Follow the seasons

Each season lasts eight village days. Autumn adds 15% crop yield; winter reduces it by 35%. Rain helps fields, sunshine helps orchards and a breeze helps mills. Inspect the exact adjustments in the forecast.

Keep the economy moving

Complete story orders and daily deliveries, trade through a connected market and research six improvements. Expand from 24 to 36 to 48 plots. Buildings can reach level four. Storehouses increase material capacity.
